Contribute to Geisinger Marworth
We’ve treated more than 40,000 people since opening in 1982 — and even more family and friends have experienced the life-changing impact of recovery.
If you’ve benefited personally or simply believe in the power of evidence-based addiction treatment to help our communities, we hope you’ll consider supporting us. Because together, we can change more lives.
Gift of Hope
The Gift of Hope fund helps low-income, uninsured and under-insured people get the treatment they need. Money from this fund directly supports patients who qualify for discounts under our charity care policy. In 2020 alone, 382 patients benefited from the Gift of Hope fund.
Mission support
Our primary mission is to provide evidence-based, personalized addiction treatment for everyone who needs it. As the field changes, we evolve, too. Your donation will be used where it’s most needed to help us continue providing the most up-to-date, life-changing care.
Addiction medicine education
We support educational experiences for medical residents, medical students and allied health professionals. Your donation will support those experiences.
We also sponsor a physician training program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. This year-long fellowship prepares physicians to sit for their board certification in addiction medicine.
Therapeutic activities fund
Many patients tell us how important it was to relearn “how to have fun” while sober, so recreation and leisure during inpatient treatment is vital. Donations to this fund are used to support recreation therapy activities, such as the high ropes course and fitness center.
Facility support
Our facility and campus merge the history of the Scranton family estate with leading-edge therapy and medicine. We’re always working to maintain and update the buildings, grounds and especially historic parts of campus. If you’d like to support this effort, reach out to Geisinger Health Foundation at geisingerfoundation@geisinger.edu to discuss options. Naming opportunities may be available for some capital projects.
Planned giving and other philanthropic opportunities are also an option. Email geisingerfoundation@geisinger.edu with any questions.
